About Annika,
woman inspired by what moves us
My name is Annika and I am a person that is easily moved.
In my life, I have moved around a lot, and after having seen and experienced many places in the world, I have come to the Netherlands in 2009, and I still am here. My origins are in Germany, but by now, I like to define myself as a world citizen. There is a lot of curiosity in me that makes me want to understand other citizens of this world. It fascinates me to get to know the way others have moved around, to understand their stories, where they come from, what experience they have made in their life, and what values they live by. Whilst traveling, I have learnt to deeply embrace diversity, and to respect people and their stories. The travels have taught me to be open about meeting the unknown. And they have brought me a deep understanding that in all our diversity, we are the same in that each one of us has something precious within ourselves.
The wish to make a simple yet meaningful contribution to making the world a better place, in combination with my curiosity for people’s stories and the passion for movement have brought me to where I am today. And that is to hold space so that others can explore their stories, their movements, and themselves at a more profound level.
Next to my academic studies, I have completed an education as yoga instructor, and I am currently following the program of somatic bodywork at the Pantarei School in Berlin. Throughout my life, I have trained many people, both individually as well as groups, be it on sustainability topics, on breathing techniques or on finding freedom through dance. And I am happy that I now can teach you about how great it is to feel more of yourself.
If you want to know more about my background, my work, or my visions, do not hesitate to get in touch and connect.
